The Lunar Bees are a group of people from Southeastern Michigan who are ready to take on the Moonbots Challenge. Our team leader Michael, is a college sophomore who was on FLL and FRC teams. He focuses on building and has a unique perception of LEGO robotics. Michael’s younger sister, Elizabeth, is a junior in high school. She has also been involved with FLL and is entering her third year on an FRC team. Elizabeth helps mentor the Marist Academy FLL team. Elizabeth likes pets and helps organize team meetings. She also does research. Jack is a great programmer and has been involved in FRC and FLL. Jack is also a high school junior and mentors with Elizabeth. Ellen is a high school sophomore who likes to build and programs the robot sometimes. She went through FLL and is entering her second year in FRC. Ellen has a twin sister named Jess. They both mentor with Jack and Elizabeth. Jess loved FLL and is entering her second year in FRC as a high school sophomore. Jess likes to blog, write, and build. The entire team enjoyed Moonbots last year and looks to improve and learn new things this year.
